A Site Built for One Thing

Balkan Natural Adventure has been organising trips across Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro since 2012 — hiking, via ferrata, mountain biking, cultural travel. But ski touring is different. It has its own season, its own terrain, its own questions, and its own kind of traveller.

Those questions never fit properly on a general adventure travel site. How deep is the snowpack on the Sharr ridge in February? Which side of Hajla holds the best line? How do you get from Prevalla to the Accursed Mountains, and what does the border crossing actually involve?

So we built this site to answer them. Ski Touring Balkans is where we put everything we know about ski touring in this region — the destinations, the routes, the elevations, the seasons, the honest assessment of what each area demands.
